When installing your kickstand4u™ kickstand on a mobile phone or an external case that has a Split 2pc Case design, simply leave the protective adhesive paper backing of the tape on the upper half where you don't want it to stick as shown in the below example.  Therefore allowing you to easily remove your battery back or external case.  This small tip should work in most situations.  There will be certain situations where this will not work.  In situations like that, an external case may be your only choice.  Give it a try, it just might work for you.  See diagrams below for tips.
