Kit contains: one Air Blade - 2x #8 x 1 in. Phillips Pan Head Screws and 1x #8 x 1/2 in.

Gen 2 Air Blade will increase air flow than the Gen 1 Air Blade because of its larger size into the Stock OEM Air Box for Superior Performance - the Gen 2 Air Blade is the way to go!

The Air Blade will now direct the incoming passenger side airflow smoothly into the Airbox opening - Great for those that do not want to open the Factory Blocked Driver's Side Air Intake Vents but still want to take advantage of the extra air flow

Gen2-8--AirBlade-Gen1-vs-Gen2-Installed

The Air Blade's Secret sits below the the opening, allowing it to grab some air and direct it smoothly to the Airbox while allowing the rest of the airflow to continue its way into the engine bay to minimize engine heat as intended

Optional Modification For More Direct Airflow into the Stock OEM Air Intake System using Heyco part #2559 Directional Vent Plugs

My personal 2016 Audi S3 Prestige has better throttle response with these combined intake modifications listed below - they all work together as a package getting anywhere from 20 to 25 degrees above ambient temperature depending how it is driven: sporty driving, normal city driving, or heavy stop and go traffic - the improvement in throttle response, HP and TQ are definitely noticeable and worth the effort.

As shown in the Pictures above, the Passenger side air directional vent plugs are directing air flow upwards and the Drivers side air vent plugs are directing air flow downward for a visual example.

Rotate air flow direction vent plugs so air flow is directed upward in the Summer.

Rotate air flow direction vent plugs so air flow is directed downward in the Winter.

I have left my air flow direction vent plugs directed upward for both Summer and Winter with no ill effects - simply reinstalled the "Factory Snow Guard" if needed.

This can give you between 10 to 15hp depending on supporting add-ons, i.e. Silicone Turbo Inlet Hose, Turbo Inlet Elbow Pipe, Turbo Muffler Delete, Piggy Back Power Module or a Flash Tune.

Update: 04-15-20 - Removed Neuspeed Piggy Back Power Module - Installed Integrated Engineering Catted Cast Downpipe - IE Stage 2 ECU High Torque 91 Octane Tune and IE TCU Tune.

Upper and Lower 034 Dogbone Mount Inserts using OEM Dogbone Arm.

Update: 10-15-25 - Installed the New Air-Blade Gen 2 which is a larger blade for directing even more airflow to the air intake.

Although this car is used for short daily commutes, an upgraded Intercooler is a possible future mod.
